"A few years ago, we decided to have a patio built outside our sunroom. We had design suggestions and bids from several landscapers. The bid from Jon Barmby was the most creative and the most comprehensive, and we decided to go with him. It was the right decision.

"Our East Falls backyard has become an oasis, thanks to Jon Barmby and his crew. It was a mess of broken flagstones, cut-up spaces and a whole bunch of sticks, moss, stones and gnarled growth. We now have a charming yard with privacy, style and three dining/entertaining areas pulled together by a stone wall and brick pathway, both very much in keeping with the design of our older home.
The hand-stacked stone wall was a real accomplishment. It is curved in all the right places, and solidly built, all 75+ feet of it. We have a back yard, larger than we imagined, and there is a new area carved from existing garden beds that gets almost daily use. It all looks good, too.
And aside from the excellent end result, we can honestly say that working with Jon was a pleasure. His crew was very courteous and respectful of our family, and Jon himself is a contractor we would strongly recommend to anyone for any landscaping project."
